Opening the protective devices triggers an E-Stop command. Safety locking devices keep the protective doors locked, thereby preventing the inadmissible access of people until the guarded machine no longer poses a danger.
The S20 is a Safety Switch without locking device that can be used, e.g., on machines and systems where the operator is protected from the point of operation by grid doors or sliding gates.
