Parker ZANDER ZBA Series Blower Purge Desiccant Air Dryers effectively remove contaminants found in compressed air.
The traditional adsorption principle used in this design is simple, robust and flexible using compressed air for regeneration therefore eliminating any need for an outside energy supply.
Continuous drying is accomplished by the operation of two desiccant towers.
Compressed air is dried through one tower while the other desiccant tower is being regenerated.
The regeneration heating cycle of the desiccant is accomplished using a hot air flow delivered by an atmospheric blower and external electric heater (other means of heating are optional).
The regeneration cooling cycle is performed using a small flow of dry compressed air taken from the dryer outlet to ensure dewpoint performance.
High levels of reliability are achieved by the use of proven engineering technology and components.
Compressed air purification equipment must deliver uncompromising performance and reliability while providing the right balance of air quality with the lowest cost of operation.
Many manufacturers offer products for the filtration and purification of contaminated compressed air, which are often selected only upon their initial purchase cost, with little or no regard for the air quality they provide, the cost of operation throughout their life or indeed their environmental impact.
When purchasing purification equipment, delivered air quality, the overall cost of ownership and the equipment's environmental impact must always be considered.
